CAMP INDECON MERIT SCHOLORASHIPS
Camp Indecon makes available a limited number of specifically designated scholarships each year. These scholarships are intended to recognize the desire of a child to benefit from the sessions of Camp Indecon which will help them develop independence and confidence by formally learning to “think for themselves”. These scholarships are awarded without regard to financial need. Scholarships are awarded for both full and partial registration fees. Instructions for completing a one to two-page essay are on the Merit Scholarship Form.
U. S. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The most important thing for you to know about our approach to financial aid is that we are committed to finding and registering those campers that would benefit most from the Camp Indecon experience, regardless of their family’s financial condition. We recognize that camp registration fees may represent an obstacle for some families. Because we take the time and effort to become well-acquainted with each family, its fiscal commitments, and its needs, we do not adhere to any specific “cutoff” income level when considering a family for financial assistance.
In other words, our tuition should not deter a camper from applying to Camp Indecon because we are committed to registering campers who will contribute to and will reap the most benefit from Camp Indecon. Any personal financial information submitted remains confidential. Given this commitment, we actively help finance the cost of as many campers as our Scholarship Funds allow.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
To encourage diversity and expand the experience of all campers, Camp Indecon hosts campers from various countries. To assist with the registration fees, this Foreign Exchange Financial Assistance provides funds to campers based on family circumstances. It is suggested that those desiring financial assistance complete the proper form and also have the camper describe their desire to learn from Camp Indecon sessions by submitting the "Camp Indecon Merit Scholarship" form as well. Both forms can be requested on line at www.campindecon.org or by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or by writing to Camp Indecon, 835 12th St. Suite 203, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
REQUIREMENTS AND NOTIFICATION
This form must be attached to the Camper Registration Form and received no later than May 1 of the year of camp. Incomplete forms will not be considered. You will be notified no later than June 1 of the year of camp of any Scholarship Award.
