Manly DECO January 4, 2007 Jessica Hirschhorn (Bethesda, MD) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
Heavy, strong bookends in a manly, DECO style. Excellent quality. I bought these for my husband to go along with his book presents. Looks great on his dresser. Very classy.
Very nice book ends July 5, 2008 Kinch (Chicago, IL) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I've had these for over a month now. I use them to hold up big hard cover picture books, and they do it very well. They have felt/rubber type material on the bottom also so you don't need to worry about scratching. The only super-picky think I can think about is that on the very bottom of the wall the men are holding up is the name of the makers of the bookends etched in. But that's it. They do their job well.
Awesome February 15, 2009 Paid in full (Milwaukee, WI, USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
These things are great. They look amazing on my bookshelf and they made with solid material and heavy enough to hold up all my college textbooks. In my mind, they are totally worth every cent. If you like how it looks on the picture, I say go for it!
Kikkerland Book Ends January 14, 2010 Aging Gracefully (Texas) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great book ends. They are super sturdy as well as a delight to look at. These book ends will hold up just about any size or weight books. Well worth the money.
I've been wanting these January 8, 2010 HP81 (Philadelphia, PA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The bookends make a nice addition to my DVD collection. My 75+ DVDs stand on a shelf that hangs over my TV and I needed something to keep them falling, and these things do not budge, even on a slick surface like my IKEA shelf. I've received numerous compliments on the bookends. They're the perfect weight and are very sleek. It's also a great size to match up against the size of a DVD case.
